Two weeks ago we crossed the 21,000 startup mark making us the Godzilla of startup databases.  Last week, we cruised past 22,000 startups and today, we are happy to have passed the 23,000 mark.

Our recent push has been aided by our efforts to capture incubators and their portfolio (or tenant) companies on ChubbyBrain.  So now in addition to thousands of venture capital firms, angel investment firms and individual angel investors, you can search several hundred incubators.  For entrepreneurs, these incubators which are often geared towards spurring local economic development may be a great resource to investigate as they often offer office space and other valuable services to help local startups get going.

You can use the ChubbyBrain advanced investor search and specify the investor type as “incubator” to see some of the incubators we have profiles for.  Of course, in line with our Karma Model, as you contribute more, you will get access to more results and features.  And as always, ChubbyBrain is free.
