CrunchFund, despite all the drama, is very real. And it’s general partners/founders, Michael Arrington and Patrick Gallagher, are making real investments, and here are the first two in the CrunchFund portfolio.
- GetAround – A car sharing service/community akin to an Airbnb for car rental. GetAround which launched at TechCrunch Disrupt is joining the collaborative commerce space for cars alongside competitors such as RelayRides.
- Prism Sky Labs – This one is a bit more stealthy so details are vague but the company says it aims to “bring physical spaces online, creating new places for people and businesses to understand and engage each other.”
