Red Bull + Pom Juice?
FRS is just a drink that brands itself on 2 antioxidants, quercetin and catechin, that\'s the heatlhy part. The energy part is the large amounts of vitamin B they put in the drink. Vitamin B forces the body to flush itself, thus giving you the feel of energy. I think health drinks are over hyped, and so are antioxidants. To consumers I doubt they can convert most people who\'ve been addicted to energy drinks. Energy drinks have been on the market for a long time, and if anyone\'s noticed their sizes have been growing. The human body adjusts to counter the amount of drugs we intake over time, so to get the same high on the same drug we\'ll need to increase our dosage with time. Given this energy drink doesn\'t have any chemicals that gives effects similar to caffeine, it would be difficult to draw in traditional energy drink consumers. There just isn\'t enough drugs to give people the high they want. But for health conscious people this product may have a chance, the most similar product I can think of to this one would be the yellow Vitamin Water flavor. Both contain high amounts of vitamin B, and antioxidants. At the price of 2.37, I would say this is reasonably priced compared to Red Bull.
I am also impressed they\'ve convinced the Lance Armstrong to be support their product and GNC to carry their drink. The success of this drink would depend on how they brand and grow themselves. I\'d imagine they would take a path that\'s comparable or parallel to vitamin water. How likely they are to succeed would also depend heavily on their management. Since I\'ve never witnessed their sales pitches or seen how they operate I can\'t say for sure how they\'ll do.
