Tesla Motors, a company that started in 2003 with so much promise, has been a great disappointment to the advancement and mainstreaming of the fully electric car. <br /> <br />The company\'s first misstep was its choice to produce a $100,000 high-end roadster as its pioneer product versus a more mainstream car.
