Mayfield India
In 2008 Mayfield, which had been investing in India from its global fund, announced its first ever India-focused venture capital fund with a fund of $110 million. This fund was to be invested by the firm's Mumbai office.

In 2008, Mayfield Fund closed its thirteenth fund at its cap of $395 million and continued the firm's multi-stage strategy across the consumer, enterprise, semiconductor and cleantech sectors. The target for the Mayfield Fund XIII LP was $375 million.
Mayfield's Initial Investment
Mayfield Fund typically makes initial investments between $1 and $3 million. The firm also generally participates in follow-on financing rounds and assists in finding co-investors in these rounds.
